We had a great time on this tour. We got to see some dolphins and lots of birds. It was cool that our guides pointed out some sunken and stranded ships. We got to stop at a small island to pick up some shells. They gave us bags for the shells and offered to take family pictures with the lighthouse in the background. Grace and Tom were the ones that showed us around.

Grace and Captain Dan were amazing! We saw two sea turtles by the dock after we got done with the boat ride. Saw a pod of dolphins twice (beginning and end) and saw the shadow of manatees but they didn't come up to the surface. Got lots of shells and saw plenty of crabs when we stopped. So cool!!! Our tour guides were funny and overall fantastic! Thank you so much Grace and Dan for making our family vacation even better!!!!

Captain Lee and Miss Grace were amazing!!! This was our first charter and my 8 year old daughter and 5 year old son were well taken care of the whole trip. Grace showed them how to bait their hooks and even do some casting. Captain Lee had some great spots for catching fish and was very knowledgeable about the wildlife. We saw dolphins and amazing birds as well.

Went on a fishing excursion today and it was AMAZING 😍 The Captain and mate were so knowledgeable and every single person aboard caught fish. As a bonus we were able to see some sea turtles and dolphins and they were able to tell us about every different fish that was caught. This will be my go to place every time I'm in town 😁 Thanks again for a great time and the great service, it's SOOOOO appreciated.

Today we went on the boat tour and it was fantastic . The staff we're friendly , very knowledgeable , and helpful . We learned about the area . Saw many bird species, and learned about Rattle Snake Island . We didn't see the dolphins, they must have been elsewhere. It's a huge ocean . Lol. But it was a great time . Thank you so much . Capt Lee and First Mate Grace were wonderful. My elderly grandmother wanted to join but ended up getting sick on the boat. Grace jumped in to help while Capt Lee got us to the Coast Guard station. They were so understanding and helpful. Once my grandmother was taken care of the cruise went on just like normal. I will gladly tell anyone that this is the boat to go on!!!

Tina kept us entertained with information and dry jokes 🤣 we felt really included and welcomed by this pair! They are true professionals and we would definitely return! We booked a 2pm dolphin tour on 8/13/22. Our Captain was Tom & our tour guide was also a different wonderful gentleman named Tom. Both Tom’s were truly outstanding for the entire trip. I would recommend booking & doing all waivers online ahead of time to save time doing paperwork while checking in. Parking is easy & free for boat guests, it’s a close walk to the dock with clean bathrooms to use before boarding. Captain Tom manned the wheel & was super accommodating to the children on board & even offered / allowed each young child to steer the boat / watch the waterways with binoculars from the helm. Tour guide (younger / curly haired Tom) was SUPER knowledgeable about the history of the area, trends, tides & especially all the species of birds, mammals etc that we saw on our 90 minute boat tour. He also had a handful of corny / dad jokes that had everyone laughing & entertained for the entirety of the trip. The boat itself was no frills, but perfectly fine and we greatly appreciated the overhead coverage to protect us from the sun / heat. Bring food / drinks / cold water because we all know how hot it can get in FL! We saw several dolphins & many ocean loving birds on our tour. Loved that they made it a point to slow down & scoop up ocean litter with a net along our boat tour. We stopped for 10 minutes on the way back to the dock where everyone was given the option to de-board at a cute little sand barge / beach area. There Tom caught a few crabs & made it a point to share his knowledge with the guests about the species he caught. Encouraged guests to sea h for shells / sand dollars. These guys are friendly, knowledgeable & made the trip so much fun for all ages. They respect the ocean, the guests & are truly there to make sure everyone has a good, safe time. Make sure to bring some cash to tip these well deserving men for their hard work. Will definitely recommend & return in the future!! Well worth the $31/ person for the adventure.

Waiting for the tour we saw a sea turtle who was hanging out in the boat area & some pelicans.It was too bad we didn’t see anything on our tour though. We were in high tide, so I guess dolphins don’t come out to play during these times. Tried to spot manatees but no luck on those either.Stopping at the island, I was expecting a little more. We weren’t able to swim like I thought we could, just about Wade in to your shins and once you hit the drop off area, you had to stop because you weren’t allowed to go past it.It was nice of them though to let my son borrow a life jacket though from the boat. Much appreciated that.There was another passenger on the boat that found a crab on the island and showed my sons. That was cool!The first mate, Lindsey was very kind and funny. She does great at her job.

We were headed to the dock for a dolphin tour on Saturday when we were in a rear end collision. We were stopped for pedestrians and the person behind us was on their phone and smacked right into us. After realizing everyone was ok, we quickly realized we would not be making the boat. I called to let them know. Without hesitation the person on the phone (Jiffy) asked us if we would like to be rebooked or if we would like a refund. I was very surprised as most places would have said "sorry no refunds"... We made our trip today and it was so great! It was nice that the kids who had questions were acknowledged and answered and we saw a ton of wildlife. The cruise was not rushed and it was very well done. Thank you for making what was a very had experience with the accident a little better!

We saw dolphins, birds, and pelicans (one that was friends with a photographer too). I didn’t find any shells though which was a bummer but I did get to steer the boat!! Our fishing trip this morning was so great! We have a son with Down Syndrome and 2 sons on the Autism Spectrum. They were wonderful with them..and our daughter. They helped all of us to bait our hooks and cast our lines. My husband actually got a chance to fish for a change...he always gets stuck non-stop helping kids at home. We were in Orlando/Kissimmee area for vacation. So glad we made the trip out to go fishing with Ponce Inlet watersports. My youngest gets motion sick and had no problems while out on the boat. (I admit I did give him zofran about 6:30 am for the drive out. And fishing went until about 1 pm.)

Fishing experience was so fun! Be sure to bring drinks (of choice 😉) and snacks. The boat had full shade, so we never really got hot. Everyone on board caught something and some caught lots! We did wish for a speaker so we could have music, but Captain Doc was very informative and down to earth. Great company!!

I had never been on a fishing trip before and Doc and Lindsey made it so fun! They patiently showed me several times how to cast my line until it stuck! They even put the bait on many times. While waiting for our tour to start we got to see a pelican and turtle, both locals to the area. It was pretty awesome to see them both up close in their natural habitat and not in a zoo. Out in the water we saw one or two other pelicans but no other turtles.As far as the ride itself we got to see a couple pods of dolphins. Moms with their babies. Again super awesome that it wasn’t in a zoo.It’s wildlife so we weren’t expecting up close and personal. As close as they did come was amazing. Good enough to get some good videos. They were swimming… not like you can ask them to hold still for a picture.We got to see various birds in the mangroves including one of the tallest.We didn’t get to see any manatees. I was hoping to see them. However, I understand it’s wildlife. Nothing the tour can do about that. They take you to the areas. The wildlife is either there or not. Today was a not.The boat stopped on a sandbar for us to find shells. It was nice to get off for fifteen minutes and have a look around. Within reason, take what we wanted as souvenirs. Again you’re at the mercy of what nature gives you. This isn’t a staged boat ride.The captain and his mate were both friendly and knowledgeable about the area. There was plenty of light hearted banter and knowledge about the area to keep you engaged.Drinks were offered. All that was asked was that you pay what you could as thanks. You weren’t limited to their selection- you were able to bring your own snacks and drinks.Over all money well spent for a couple hours. When in the area I’d do it again.

We absolutely LOVED our tour with Captain Lee and Gina! We got to see a whole pod of dolphins, Shell Island was beautiful, and Gina was absolutely amazing with my son Joseph!

She let him hang out right beside her, and seeing how much joy it brought him made it that much better for us!

The ride is 5 stars, the endless information Gina shares is 5 stars (she really knows her stuff!), and the jokes are easily 10 stars if I could give that!

It's fun, relaxing, inexpensive, and every minute is enjoyable with beautiful sights, calm water, and a friendly crew.

We will be back! First time for us, but definitely will not be the last! Thank you all for giving us a wonderful tour!

Wanted to let the Ponce team(specifically Jiffy) know how much we appreciated their kindness! On Monday this week my wife and I were supposed to go on the dolphin and manatee excursion however, we weren't feeling 100%. Jiffy called me 5 minutes before the tour was to begin and he was so cool enough to offer another day once we were feeling better. Highly recommend! First 15 mins into the trip our 1 year old was getting a little antsy & whiny.. low and behold here came Captain Danielle to save the day! She scooped her up and took her back to drive the boat & keep her entertained. She rocked it! Skylar immediately took over & highly enjoyed the rest of the trip which overall helped us & everyone else enjoy the ride as well. Captain & first mate were both awesome, very informative & extremely pleasant! They handed over some really cool shells to Skylar & Captain Danielle even had Skylar up front waving to everyone as we were leaving the boat. What we thought was going to be a very long 90 min trip there, turned out to be an awesome experience we thoroughly enjoyed & get to smile back on. Safe, friendly and knowledgeable. You can end your search here in my opinion. Captain and Lindsay were great. Both knew where we could see birds and lots of dolphins. Unfortunately, the water temperature was still too cool for manatees. The stop at the beach was the best we found shells, sand crabs and a hermit crab. Highly recommend adding this adventure to your to your vacation.

My family and I went on the echo dolphin tour then the next morning we went on the back Waters fishing charter. Captain Doc and Gina were the best, they were outstanding. We saw a lot of dolphins and different wildlife during the dolphin tour and caught a bunch of fish during the fishing charter. I would like to thank Gina and Captain Doc for an amazing 4 hour back Waters fishing trip. They were beyond amazing and so much fun.

We enjoyed the Dolphin and Manatee Cruise. Our captain and her assistant were very friendly and informative. We were excited to see dolphins. Some came close to the boat. We sat at the front of the boat and got some spray. Also, at times it was difficult to hear the captain. Perhaps a microphone would help. Over all, we would recommend this excursion.

We took the dolphin & manatee tour with my sister Gina as our tour guide she’s funny and that’s the perfect job for her lol! And the super nice and funny Captain Tom! Very professional. We went to Sand Dollar Island and enjoyed their ice cream place right after. Took us through shark alley and under the drawbridge. Also the Coast Guard Station was so cool to see up close. We saw tons of dolphins it’s very neat to see them in the wild🐬 can’t wait to do some of their other tours. Highly recommend!⚓️

My husband and I booked have done two private charter boat hires with our two kids (11 and 8). We always book with Ponce Inlet Watershots as they are simply the best!! Lur first trip waa with Captain Danielle who was a fountain of knowledge. Danielle gave us loads of interesting information about the wildlife, eco system and fish. She took us to several different fishing spots and my husband caught a huge bonnet nose shark. As you can see from the photo, we are all very excited about this catch!
We then had Captain Josh for our second charter and he was equally amazing. My son loves fishing and Captain Josh took us put on the ocean where he helped him catch a huge ray! We caught loads of fish and Captain Josh was kind enough to filet several of them which we later had for dinner.
Thank you Captain Danielle and Josh for a brilliant day and thank you Ponce Inlet Watersports for always providing excellent customer service and a professional fun experience.

it was a beautiful day and a great tour!! and no one got sea sick!! we also got to see some dolphins and play at the beach for a little bit. the kids had a really great time. we would definitely recommend and make this a regular stop on trip to Daytona.

What an amazing experience from start to finish! Easy online reservation and accommodating service. We were running late for our reservation (there were 10 of us) and called to let them know. They said they would wait. Then as things happen on our vacations we blew a tire! We called again and they let us move our reservation to a later time. When we checked in, the service was friendly and on a 1st name basis. The 1st mate was awesome and had a lot of information to share about the local wildlife. This was the 1st Florida vacation for 3 of my grandkids. I promised my granddaughter that we would see manatee, sea turtles and dolphins. Today we marked the last 2 off our list. Thank you for the memorable day for this grandma. Myself, 3 of my kids and their significant others plus 5 grandkids all had a fabulous experience!

Went for the 90 minute Dolphin tour with Tom & Gina. Absolutely fantastic! We saw plenty of wildlife ( dolphins, pelicans, jellyfish, crabs ) but, even if we hadn’t, it would have been well worth the money!! Gina and Tom made the trip really enjoyable and informative. We had a rare experience with heavy rains recently and a King Tide. Water levels were super high and it was COLD, but the trip was still incredible. The crew was very knowledgeable and friendly. We also saw dolphins in a couple different spots. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic 4 hour fishing trip with Capt Ingram today, beautiful weather, great catches and and a fun time had by all. highly recommend the 4 hour fishing tour. our 6 year old was thrilled to catch some fish and our 4 year old enjoyed pretending to be captain.

Captain Jason and Gina were very entertaining. I highly recommend taking this 90 min. boat tour. worth every dime. We saw dolphins, sea turtles and a sting ray. We had such a blast. Loved hearing about all the history and the haunted house. Definitely a must do! 5 stars all the way. Wish I could remember the name of the haunted house though.

Fabulous boat tour with very knowledgeable and friendly captain and crew. We saw a dolphin maternity pod before even leaving the inlet, and then, a little later on, dolphins feeding. So incredible to watch them hunt, tossing the fish in the air and playing.

We went today September 3, 2021 and please forgive me I don’t remember their names but the captain and the crew are both females very educational. love seeing the dolphins and learning all about the area. Will definitely come again the next time I am visiting Florida. They also recommended going to the marine center which we did before hand, also very educational and only five dollars per person. we did not visit the lightHouse unfortunately. Maybe next time. All in all very enjoyable experience

Amazing boat trip today with the Ponce Inlet Watersports today!! The captain and first mate made the trip super exciting and informative although not much dolphin or manatee sitings!! Update: I forgot to mention how accommodating and attentive the whole boat staff where to my little ones who asked questions upon questions and then spoke about the new Luca movie (under the sea creatures) and with out a beat didn't ruin the imagination of a little boy but encouraged it!!

Captain and first mate very friendly and educational about Dolphins and manatees. Child friendly . Allowed them to sit at steering wheel of boat . Both of my nephews got too . One was 8 the other 11 (looks older ) but the captain allowed him to do when going faster on boat . This truly meant a lot to me and I know it effected Isaac. Thank you again . The best money spent on our trip from Kentucky . First time to Daytona area for me and first time ocean experience for my nephews . Highly recommend ! Absolutely fantastic boat tour! It was easy to make a reservation and they communicated with our group all the way until our tour. We actually got a flat tire in our rental on the way and they even waited for us to arrive. Tom the captain and Tom the biologist were awesome! Our experience was pretty amazing! Not everyone caught a fish but the experience made up for it! We learned that you are able to hold these type of jelly fish and we even seen dolphins while on our fishing trip. It was a little chilly and our tour guide offered his jacket to my daughter. My Daughter and I took the Dolphin Manatee 90 minute boat tour and really enjoyed it! Right from the parking lot to the boat, the staff was amazing, helpful, and kind. Our boat tour started a bit late due to a large group running behind, but the crew was fantastic. The cruise itself was beautiful, on a hot sunny day, no manatees, but a handful of dolphins, birds, and jelly fish. A quick stop at a little beach was nice and the crew really cares about the environment and the animals which is really nice. Highly recommend and we will be back!

We were in for bike week and took a 90 minute dolphin Manatee tour which we were talked into by one of the employees. I couldn’t believe the quality of the trip for the price.

We saw many dolphins in the wild and although we didn’t see any manatees, We got a very thorough education about The channels, inlets, and safety while navigating them, as well as a front row seat to the wildlife preservation efforts of the staff. It is clear that everyone on the boat had a heart toward preserving the animals. The animals seem the priority for the crew and that was very touching to see. We learned about all of the wildlife that we did spot along the shoreline. We learned about mangroves and oyster beds. (Ouch!) we had a great stop at Shell Island as well. I mean the island was just OK but my smoking friends were really happy for the break. It doesn’t hurt that an ice cream boat showed up “conveniently“ upon our arrival and one of my biker friends decided to treat the boat. If you are a smoker I highly recommend this move so that the tour keeps the stop at Shell Island. I mean there really isn’t a lot of shelling to be done there... do you know what I mean?LOL.

Captain Daniel and first mate Amber treated everybody with dignity and respect no matter how they were dressed. In fact,every staff member from the parking attendant to the trainees It was an excellent, customer-first focused individual. Terrific outing. highly recommend.

I cannot thank Doc and Ashley enough for my first time fishing experience. Very customer oriented, taught me to bate a hook, cast and fish and I brought in four fish, a nice red, a black drum, and two jacks. Great trip, would absolutely fish with them again.
Doc knew exactly where to go to hit the fishing holes. Doc filleted all the fish for us and then we headed to “Off the Hook” up the street from the marina and they cooked all our fish for us. Delicious! Thank you again Doc and Ashley!!!

Today, May 28, 2020, we went on the 2 pm Eco tour. We were greeted with a warm welcome and an easy check in at the office to begin. Shortly after check in we boarded the boat with Danielle and Captain Rob. We learned so much about the history and wildlife around us, all while enjoying a nice breeze on the boat. Both informative and fun!!

A stop to a sandbar/island area to collect shells was a delight. Capt. Rob even took his flip flops off and went in knee deep water to grab a she'll my husband spotted from shore. Danielle helped identify and gather shells too. It was so nice to chat and share the excitement of our finds with them.

We will definitely be making regular trips out with them and bringing our out of town visitors too.

Had an awesome time with family that came down to visit us from Indiana. Captain Dave, and I believe his name was Nick, and the photographer were all great! Definitely recommend checking this place out if you get the chance. I went parasailing in Key West and bought the photographers SD card with the pictures and videos and they were so terrible. Our 8 and 5 year old sons have been wanting to fish in the ocean like on the show Catching Monsters but also wanted to see wild life and find some seashells. I contacted Ponce inlet water sports and they recommended chartering a boat with Captain John. Our 4 hour fishing, dolphin and seashell finding boat ride was nothing short of fantastic. Captain John was great with our kids (and our 17 month old!!) and we all had so much fun. We caught several different type of fish and some were keepers that we took home and ate for dinner. I highly recommend them. We will be back next year!

I highly recommend the back water fishing with captain John!!! He is an amazing guide and a genuinely nice person! We had so much fun, he told us a little about the area and got us set up quickly. We caught 8 fish in a little over an hour (4 different species) and then on our way back he stopped so we could look for shells. We then got a surprise and saw a storm rolling in. Captain Doc and Captain Kristy were the best. Kept all of us entertained with facts and interesting tidbits of information regarding the estuarian habitat and inhabitants in addition to some of the history of the area. Everyone caught fish and special attention was given to the kids who were having as much fun as anyone on the boat, without taking away anything from any adults on board. Wow I highly recommend this Eco tour for anyone who wants to have a fun experience and the staff they are awesome at what they do and you can tell they love their job I mean what's not to love though. My family and I have never been on a boat before ever and we all enjoyed ourselves and we will be coming back next year when we come on vacation.

Captain Doc and First Mate, Ashley were awesome! Very knowledgeable and patient! They found some great spots to ensure everyone on our 4 hour tour caught a fish. They were also great with kids!

My heart is so happy! I paddle board on a regular in North Carolina and have even lived in Hawaii for some time. This had to be one of my favorite paddle boarding experiences...... hours after I am still thinking about my day.

We did the 4 hour private fishing tour. Captain John went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. My kids loved catching all the different types of fish. Definitely coming back next time we are here.

We had an awesome time with Brian during our SUP tour! He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. He was also super laid back, funny and entertaining. We had a great time and saw turtles, dolphins and rays. Beautiful area to paddleboard and a great value! We’ll definitely be back!

Had a wonderful time. Captain Jack and Haley were very knowledgeable on Ponce Inlet and the wildlife that inhabited the area. We saw a lot of dolphins, which was really cool and Mako ( the puppy) was adorable!

Went paddle boarding with Brian and had a great time! He was so knowledgeable about the area. Saw dolphins, baby sharks, stingrays, and starfish. It was a relaxing ride traveling from island to island. I will definitely be back!
