Had a wonderful boat ride. The tour was awesome Gabe and Rick were so great and funny. We really had a great time and enjoyed every bit of the ride. Got to see dolphins and some bird's. My husband and I did an hour jet ski tour. It was a lot of fun!! I was ever so grateful that the tour guide parked my jet ski with me on it so I didn't have to try to balance on the side of the dock. (I have severe balance issues.) I was too scared to really go super fast but I still had a lot of fun and so did my husband! (My husband wanted to buy a jet ski afterwards LOL). We even got to see some dolphins. Super cool! Highly recommend, they were super courteous and accommodating. Smiles all around :D

It was our first time in Daytona beach celebrating our 25th anniversary and the first time seeing dolphins, it was worth every minute and dollar! Captain Rick and our guide Jordan were very friendly, helpful and fun to be around! We saw alot of dolphins and their young. I recommend signing the waiver that you recieve in an email before coming to make checking in super quick.
Had a great time, got to see some very cool fish and sites, the captain and first mate were the best, will do this again!

Staff was so professional and polite! We were originally going to go to Rose bay water sports but I’m so glad we chose here instead! Keep doing what you’re doing! What a fun day! My sister and I really enjoyed the trip, and first mate Jordan was very informative about so many things! Along with the captain, their personalities made the day so enjoyable! We saw many dolphins, but the most exciting part was that we saw a very small baby dolphin swimming between two adult females- so cute, and unforgettable! I will be sure to bring other friends and family that come to Florida on this trip.

Capt Lee and First Mate Grace were wonderful. My elderly grandmother wanted to join but ended up getting sick on the boat. Grace jumped in to help while Capt Lee got us to the Coast Guard station. They were so understanding and helpful. Once my grandmother was taken care of the cruise went on just like normal. I will gladly tell anyone that this is the boat to go on!!!

We were headed to the dock for a dolphin tour on Saturday when we were in a rear end collision. We were stopped for pedestrians and the person behind us was on their phone and smacked right into us. After realizing everyone was ok, we quickly realized we would not be making the boat. I called to let them know. Without hesitation the person on the phone (Jiffy) asked us if we would like to be rebooked or if we would like a refund. I was very surprised as most places would have said "sorry no refunds"... We made our trip today and it was so great! It was nice that the kids who had questions were acknowledged and answered and we saw a ton of wildlife. The cruise was not rushed and it was very well done. Thank you for making what was a very had experience with the accident a little better!

I went with my family last week and Lee and Gina were awesome! Gina was SO informative and we learned a lot! She was so sweet too. We saw dolphins, birds, and pelicans (one that was friends with a photographer too). I didn’t find any shells though which was a bummer but I did get to steer the boat!! Our fishing trip this morning was so great! We have a son with Down Syndrome and 2 sons on the Autism Spectrum. They were wonderful with them..and our daughter. They helped all of us to bait our hooks and cast our lines. My husband actually got a chance to fish for a change...he always gets stuck non-stop helping kids at home. We were in Orlando/Kissimmee area for vacation. So glad we made the trip out to go fishing with Ponce Inlet watersports. My youngest gets motion sick and had no problems while out on the boat. (I admit I did give him zofran about 6:30 am for the drive out. And fishing went until about 1 pm.)
Fishing experience was so fun! Be sure to bring drinks (of choice 😉) and snacks. The boat had full shade, so we never really got hot. Everyone on board caught something and some caught lots! We did wish for a speaker so we could have music, but Captain Doc was very informative and down to earth. Great company!!

I had never been on a fishing trip before and Doc and Lindsey made it so fun! They patiently showed me several times how to cast my line until it stuck! They even put the bait on many times. We went to a variety of places on the river to fish. They both told great stories and shared great information about the area in terms of nature and the development. Thank you both!

We absolutely LOVED our tour with Captain Lee and Gina! We got to see a whole pod of dolphins, Shell Island was beautiful, and Gina was absolutely amazing with my son Joseph!

Highly recommend! First 15 mins into the trip our 1 year old was getting a little antsy & whiny.. low and behold here came Captain Danielle to save the day! She scooped her up and took her back to drive the boat & keep her entertained. She rocked it! Skylar immediately took over & highly enjoyed the rest of the trip which overall helped us & everyone else enjoy the ride as well. Captain & first mate were both awesome, very informative & extremely pleasant! They handed over some really cool shells to Skylar & Captain Danielle even had Skylar up front waving to everyone as we were leaving the boat. Captain Danielle and First Mate Gina were wonderful on our Manatee & Dolphin tour. Not only were they knowledgeable about the wildlife, they knew the area well! We saw Dolphins, many local birds and sunken sailboats. We will do another tour the next time we are in the area.

We enjoyed the Dolphin and Manatee Cruise. Our captain and her assistant were very friendly and informative. We were excited to see dolphins. Some came close to the boat. We sat at the front of the boat and got some spray. Also, at times it was difficult to hear the captain. Perhaps a microphone would help. Over all, we would recommend this excursion.
We took the dolphin & manatee tour with my sister Gina as our tour guide she’s funny and that’s the perfect job for her lol! And the super nice and funny Captain Tom! Very professional. We went to Sand Dollar Island and enjoyed their ice cream place right after. Took us through shark alley and under the drawbridge. Also the Coast Guard Station was so cool to see up close. We saw tons of dolphins it’s very neat to see them in the wild🐬 can’t wait to do some of their other tours. Highly recommend!⚓️

My husband and I booked have done two private charter boat hires with our two kids (11 and 8). We always book with Ponce Inlet Watershots as they are simply the best!! Lur first trip waa with Captain Danielle who was a fountain of knowledge. Danielle gave us loads of interesting information about the wildlife, eco system and fish. She took us to several different fishing spots and my husband caught a huge bonnet nose shark. As you can see from the photo, we are all very excited about this catch! We then had Captain Josh for our second charter and he was equally amazing. My son loves fishing and Captain Josh took us put on the ocean where he helped him catch a huge ray! We caught loads of fish and Captain Josh was kind enough to filet several of them which we later had for dinner. Thank you Captain Danielle and Josh for a brilliant day and thank you Ponce Inlet Watersports for always providing excellent customer service and a professional fun experience.

What an amazing experience from start to finish! Easy online reservation and accommodating service. We were running late for our reservation (there were 10 of us) and called to let them know. They said they would wait. Then as things happen on our vacations we blew a tire! We called again and they let us move our reservation to a later time. When we checked in, the service was friendly and on a 1st name basis. The 1st mate was awesome and had a lot of information to share about the local wildlife. This was the 1st Florida vacation for 3 of my grandkids. I promised my granddaughter that we would see manatee, sea turtles and dolphins. Today we marked the last 2 off our list. Thank you for the memorable day for this grandma. Myself, 3 of my kids and their significant others plus 5 grandkids all had a fabulous experience!

Went for the 90 minute Dolphin tour with Tom & Gina. Absolutely fantastic! We saw plenty of wildlife ( dolphins, pelicans, jellyfish, crabs ) but, even if we hadn’t, it would have been well worth the money!! Gina and Tom made the trip really enjoyable and informative. We had a rare experience with heavy rains recently and a King Tide. Water levels were super high and it was COLD, but the trip was still incredible. The crew was very knowledgeable and friendly. We also saw dolphins in a couple different spots. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic 4 hour fishing trip with Capt Ingram today, beautiful weather, great catches and and a fun time had by all. highly recommend the 4 hour fishing tour. our 6 year old was thrilled to catch some fish and our 4 year old enjoyed pretending to be captain.

Loved hearing about all the history and the haunted house. Definitely a must do! 5 stars all the way. Wish I could remember the name of the haunted house though.
Fabulous boat tour with very knowledgeable and friendly captain and crew. We saw a dolphin maternity pod before even leaving the inlet, and then, a little later on, dolphins feeding. So incredible to watch them hunt, tossing the fish in the air and playing.
We had an awesome tour and Lauren was great! We didn’t see any dolphins or manatees but we did get to see a sea turtle and a manna ray as we docked after the tour. Very entertaining and educational.

We went today September 3, 2021 and please forgive me I don’t remember their names but the captain and the crew are both females very educational. love seeing the dolphins and learning all about the area. Will definitely come again the next time I am visiting Florida. They also recommended going to the marine center which we did before hand, also very educational and only five dollars per person. we did not visit the lightHouse unfortunately. Maybe next time. All in all very enjoyable experience

Captain josh knew his job well. Told him that I wanted to catch a shark and 15 minutes later I landed a four footer. 15 minutes after that another four footer. Then we went inland for some snapper and we’re catching on about every cast.

Capt Tom and his First Mate Bailey were awesome! we had a fun and enjoyable trip and even got to help find a Dolphin rescue. We all spotted a dolphin with some scarring, she took pics and notified someone about it. They were very informative which my family and I enjoyed!

We kicked of our 4th of July with a Dolphin & Manatee boat tour and it was amazing. Captain Jason and Gina were fun, engaging & knowledgeable and the kids loved being Jr. captains!!! This is a must do experience.

Our family did the 6:00 dolphin tour yesterday & absolutely loved it!!!! The guys definitely knew their stuff, they were super knowledgeable on surrounding wildlife & my husband and I loved the little historical facts they threw in there!! 10/10 would recommend, or in this case.. 4/4!! 🤓🙂🦀
We took my sister out to sea for the last time. A small informal celebration. JIffy and Captain Josh were absolutely wonderful - very caring, sincere and patience. With our time schedule, Jiffy said he would take care of everything...AND he did ! Josh knew exactly when to help us and when to step back. His professionalism made our trip most memorable. Captain and first mate very friendly and educational about Dolphins and manatees. Child friendly . Allowed them to sit at steering wheel of boat . Both of my nephews got too . One was 8 the other 11 (looks older ) but the captain allowed him to do when going faster on boat . This truly meant a lot to me and I know it effected Isaac. Thank you again . The best money spent on our trip from Kentucky . First time to Daytona area for me and first time ocean experience for my nephews . Highly recommend ! What a great day on the water! The boat caught around 30 fish. Including Whiting, Bonnethead Sharks, Puffers, Black Sea Bass, Pigfish, Catfish and Snapper! Everyone had a great time! Let’s just say we had a great Lunch at Hidden Treasure!
We took the dolphin tour and it was the best!! We saw at least 20 dolphins and learned some great facts and loved stopping on the island with tide pools to explore. I highly recommend this tour if you are in the area!!

We had a super FUN day out on the water with Captain Josh while fishing. He taught us a lot about fishing and we got to make some great catches! Big fish, little fish and we even got to see a shark up close when he took a bite out of one of the fish we had on our line! Overall great day!

We really enjoyed this tour! The captain and guide were excellent at spotting and pointing out wildlife and had a great sense of humor while also being very informative! We were impressed with how knowledgeable the guide was. We had a lot of fun and saw jellyfish, dolphins, pelicans and many other birds! Definitely worth going on this tour!
My family had a ton of fun. We did get to see some dolphins which made us better happy. The guides know a lot and are very nice!! We will visit again when we are back in FL
We lived the dolphin tours! The tour guide and captain Chris were great! The tour was very intriguing to all ages and very informative and educational. I learned and good bit and seeing the dolphins were awesome. I actually found a sand dollar when we stopped on “Sand Dollar Island” also. Very affordable and fun for all ages!

We had an absolutely fantastic captain and mate! They gave us some very interesting facts about pelicans and dolphins and fish. Super helpful when it came to taking the fish off the hook or actually catching someone else's hook LOL we had a great experience you definitely should go and find out for yourself!

Our experience was pretty amazing! Not everyone caught a fish but the experience made up for it! We learned that you are able to hold these type of jelly fish and we even seen dolphins while on our fishing trip. It was a little chilly and our tour guide offered his jacket to my daughter. I would highly recommend for a family outing while visiting!

My Daughter and I took the Dolphin Manatee 90 minute boat tour and really enjoyed it! Right from the parking lot to the boat, the staff was amazing, helpful, and kind. Our boat tour started a bit late due to a large group running behind, but the crew was fantastic. The cruise itself was beautiful, on a hot sunny day, no manatees, but a handful of dolphins, birds, and jelly fish. A quick stop at a little beach was nice and the crew really cares about the environment and the animals which is really nice. Highly recommend and we will be back!

We were in for bike week and took a 90 minute dolphin Manatee tour which we were talked into by one of the employees. I couldn’t believe the quality of the trip for the price.
We saw many dolphins in the wild and although we didn’t see any manatees, We got a very thorough education about The channels, inlets, and safety while navigating them, as well as a front row seat to the wildlife preservation efforts of the staff. It is clear that everyone on the boat had a heart toward preserving the animals. The animals seem the priority for the crew and that was very touching to see. We learned about all of the wildlife that we did spot along the shoreline. We learned about mangroves and oyster beds. (Ouch!) we had a great stop at Shell Island as well. I mean the island was just OK but my smoking friends were really happy for the break. It doesn’t hurt that an ice cream boat showed up “conveniently“ upon our arrival and one of my biker friends decided to treat the boat. If you are a smoker I highly recommend this move so that the tour keeps the stop at Shell Island. I mean there really isn’t a lot of shelling to be done there... do you know what I mean?LOL.
Captain Daniel and first mate Amber treated everybody with dignity and respect no matter how they were dressed. In fact,every staff member from the parking attendant to the trainees It was an excellent, customer-first focused individual. Terrific outing. highly recommend.

What a wonderful day! We had a 2hour private boat charter with captain John and Josh. We brought our 6 year old and 2.5 year old with us and we all had a blast! We caught many fish and a sting ray! We saw beautiful dolphins and had a very beautiful day. Captain John and josh were amazing with our kids and gave us knowledge on every fish we caught. And we had such amazing fun conversation. It was like being out with friends! We will definitely be planning more trips! Thank you so much! This was a perfect birthday gift for my husband!

I cannot thank Doc and Ashley enough for my first time fishing experience. Very customer oriented, taught me to bate a hook, cast and fish and I brought in four fish, a nice red, a black drum, and two jacks. Great trip, would absolutely fish with them again. Doc knew exactly where to go to hit the fishing holes. Doc filleted all the fish for us and then we headed to “Off the Hook” up the street from the marina and they cooked all our fish for us. We chartered a 4 hour boat ride yesterday to kick off our vacation. Our 3 kids wanted to fish and go tubing and Captain John was amazing with them. We had a blast, he was kind and patient with the kids and we made some amazing memories! My daughter is already asking to go back! This is definitely something we will do again- highly recommend!
4 Hour Private Boat Tour was awesome! The whole family enjoyed the ecotour, island/sandbar hopping and tubing! Captain John is cool, informative, fun and safety minded. This is the best way to enjoy the water without bringing your own boat. Well worth it and plan to come back to fish with Capt John next time.

Today, May 28, 2020, we went on the 2 pm Eco tour. We were greeted with a warm welcome and an easy check in at the office to begin. Shortly after check in we boarded the boat with Danielle and Captain Rob. We learned so much about the history and wildlife around us, all while enjoying a nice breeze on the boat. Both informative and fun!!
A stop to a sandbar/island area to collect shells was a delight. Capt. Rob even took his flip flops off and went in knee deep water to grab a she'll my husband spotted from shore. Danielle helped identify and gather shells too. It was so nice to chat and share the excitement of our finds with them.
We will definitely be making regular trips out with them and bringing our out of town visitors too.

We took a private fishing trip with Capt. John and had a great time. Fishing was a little slow to start, but Capt. John kept working and put us on some fish towards the end of our trip. We had great conversation and were able to catch 6 or 7 different species of fish, and took 2 red fish, a black drum and a blue fish home. Had an awesome time with family that came down to visit us from Indiana. Captain Dave, and I believe his name was Nick, and the photographer were all great! Definitely recommend checking this place out if you get the chance. I went parasailing in Key West and bought the photographers SD card with the pictures and videos and they were so terrible. The pictures and videos that Ponce Inlet Water Sports take are so crystal clear!
Our 8 and 5 year old sons have been wanting to fish in the ocean like on the show Catching Monsters but also wanted to see wild life and find some seashells. I contacted Ponce inlet water sports and they recommended chartering a boat with Captain John. Our 4 hour fishing, dolphin and seashell finding boat ride was nothing short of fantastic. Captain John was great with our kids (and our 17 month old!!) and we all had so much fun. We caught several different type of fish and some were keepers that we took home and ate for dinner. I highly recommend them. We will be back next year!
Did the dolphin and manatee tour on Tuesday and went backwater fishing on Wednesday. Had a great time on both. We found them last year during our visit and couldn’t wait to return again this year. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed.

We caught 8 fish in a little over an hour (4 different species) and then on our way back he stopped so we could look for shells. We then got a surprise and saw a storm rolling in. He got us back fast and safe before it started raining! We appreciate the friendliness and the professionalism of the entire crew! Thank you all so much for a great time!!
We did my best friends bachelorette party through them. We did a 4 hr boat ride with Danielle and Captain John and had the best time! We went island hopping and they brought us anywhere we wanted to go. We even ran out of alcohol and they brought us to the local store on the water for refills of beers! Great company and a great time!
Captain Rob & First Mate Anna were excellent! We saw a few manatees, dolphins, and got to do some shelling. Very enjoyable experience for our whole family. Highly recommend!

We had a great time. The staff was accommodating and friendly. The tour was different than other boat tours I have taken in the fact that they took you to a nice beach and let you get off and pick up shells and explore a little. I would definitely take this tour again.

Went on a dolphin tour today in Virginia Beach. I was very disappointed. Wasn’t even close to the experience I had here. Wished we would’ve went back to daytona!
We went on the dolphin and manatee tour. We thought we was guaranteed to see them but it turns out you are not guaranteed. We didn’t see anything other than birds. They said they didn’t see anything the tour in front of us either. Our kids was disappointed as well as the adults. We had 9 people in our group. We felt like it was a waste of money. The crew was nice.
Captain Doc and Captain Kristy were the best. Kept all of us entertained with facts and interesting tidbits of information regarding the estuarian habitat and inhabitants in addition to some of the history of the area. Everyone caught fish and special attention was given to the kids who were having as much fun as anyone on the boat, without taking away anything from any adults on board. Would definitely recommend the trip for a fun day and fishing as well. Very educational for Arizona people... enjoyed all of it!!!
went to the disappearing Island was real cool. Great instructor Brian. Made it across the waterway in 6 minutes with waves jump over my board. Brian kept us calm and chilled great times. going back soon.
Had the best time yesterday on our tour! Captain Rob, Daniel & Anna made us feel like family from jump. The girls warmed right up to them and were comfortable quickly so when we did come upon 3 dolphins they were able to enjoy watching the dolphins play. And also enjoyed finding their own pretty shells! 💕
Such an AMAZING group of people. We have went out twice now with Doc as out Captain and had a blast each time. We will continue to go inland fishing with Ponce Inlet Water Sports.

We have had the best experience with this company. This is my first time in Daytona Beach and we have spent 3 days of our week long vacation with Ponce Inlet Water Sports. Their staff is top notch which sets them above others in the area. Jiffy who works inside is not only knowledge about everything you’d possibly want to do on the water but patient and cares about your experience. He’s first class! Haley, Captain Rob and Captain John where also so knowledgeable and quite funny as we took the Dolphin & Manatee Tour. This was such a relaxing experience. These three were so funny and made our experience so much fun!
If you’re in this part of Florida, please make sure you put this on your list of “must do’s!” You won’t regret it!
Wow I highly recommend this Eco tour for anyone who wants to have a fun experience and the staff they are awesome at what they do and you can tell they love their job I mean what's not to love though. My family and I have never been on a boat before ever and we all enjoyed ourselves and we will be coming back next year when we come on vacation.

My heart is so happy! I paddle board on a regular in North Carolina and have even lived in Hawaii for some time. This had to be one of my favorite paddle boarding experiences...... hours after I am still thinking about my day.

I chose this activity because of all the great reviews and it surpassed my expectations. Capt. Jack and his mate/guide Kristy were amazing. We saw dolphins several times as well as other local wildlife and learned so much about the ecosystem. The guide even caught a jellyfish to bring aboard to show us and let the children hold and touch. When we stopped to look for shells at a small island Kristy was immediately available to take great pics of people with the lighthouse in the background. I highly recommend the 90 minute eco tour, it’s fun for all ages!

The 4 hour backwater fishing charter was an absolute blast!! I booked it as a surprise for my husbands 30th birthday and it was incredible!! Capt was VERY knowledgeable and was very laid back and made our trip very memorable!! He won’t admit that his wife outfished him but it’s ok! 🙂 We all caught a variety of fish during the 4 hours!! I highly recommend the dolphin tour. It was way more than I expected and I am very impressed. We saw lots of dolphins and had plenty of time to take pictures and videos. Kristy, our guide was just fabulous. She has so much knowledge of everything we saw from the ecosystem to the mangroves, to the dolphins, to every bird we saw. LOVED IT! Went on the 4 hour fishing tour this morning and it was awesome! My daughter has special needs and the Captain and crew Kristi I believe were so good with her! Woman on our boat caught a SHARK! Incredible to see - the crew helped her but let her do all the fighting and reeling. I caught a puffer fish! We all caught many mangrove snappers and when we came back the Captain cleaned and filet them and the shark! Dinner will be delicious! We also saw dolphins, osprey and sting Rays. The crew was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I would go again and highly recommend to anyone. Reasonable price too. Gone Fishing �

I just moved to Ormond Beach from Knoxville TN my Uncle John and Aunt Danielle both work at Ponce. they took us out on an Eco and it was the most incredible experience we've had since being back in FL. My Uncle John was very professional and informative. Danielle made the experience so much fun and had such amazing information. Highly recommend going to Ponce. 5 STARS!!!

This was an awesome tour. It started a little slow for the little ones but all was perfect when they saw their first dolphins. You should see the shell collection from shell beach! They both want to go again!

I cannot say enough about the Eco Tour! We saw tons of dolphins and manatees on our longer than expected trip, and stopped on a barrier island to see manatees up close. We collected large conch shells to keep, as well as sand dollars! Highly knowledgeable tour guides that take you directly to the nature you want to see! I would definitely recommend this tour for everyone!

They truly care about the needs and experience of their clients. After more than a year of working on our “Burial at Sea” for my daughter, we finally were able to accomplish it. Not only are they respectful but they went out of their way to make it beyond amazing. They filled out a burial certificate with exact coordinates, wind speeds and wave height. Captain John helped with pictures and even circled the site so we could video. Then, after we finished our ceremony he took us to see the dolphins......

This was so much fun! My husband and I went out on the dolphin and manatee tour- we saw a maternity pod of dolphins! McKenzie ( hope I spelled that right) was awesome at guiding through the tour and so friendly- and the captain (Mark? Matt?) was so good at making sure we had a great view! We would definitely recommend this to anyone going to visit the area!

The staff on the boat was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the area....we got to see a lot of dolphins and the Captain turned the boat so that every could see them jumping around and swimming...the boat was super clean and they took us to this sandbar where the water was crystal clear and got some awesome seashells and we even seen a jellyfish! I highly recommend this tour :) definitely will be back
Great experience! Crew is knowledgeable and super friendly! We saw a manatee and dolphins yesterday. We were able to get shells on the island, which was gorgeous! It looked like a small Bahamas. They did their best to keep the boat clean. Even gave us discount ice cream coupons. Highly recommend.
The very last day of our Florida vacation was the highlight of the trip! We booked a paddleboard excursion with Bryan, and, after we got the hang of it, it was the coolest experience ever! I am not the most coordinated person...I fell twice right off the bat...but Bryan's explicit instructions kept me and my husband and daughter balanced and loving the feel of paddleboarding for the remainder of our 2 hour tour! We were fortunate to see a hog-nosed ray, a stingray, jellyfish, cormorants, and other sea birds and wildlife...not too shabby for first-timers! Thank you, Bryan, for your expertise and patience. You made our first paddleboarding experience incredible and unforgettable, and it was amazing to bask in the beauty of Ponce Inlet and its wildlife!!! I want to do this again! Amazing adventure!
We had a great time doing the inlet fishing! We had 4 kids and our Captain and Makenzie were patient and helped us catch a bunch of fish and sting ray. So fun!
We lost a family member unexpectedly and we traveled from Michigan and Alabama to take care of things..needing an emotional break, they were the only place touring when we called they held the boat for us not even knowing the circumstances! And we had an amazing relaxing, and very informational tour! It was the exact stress reducer we all needed! And the dolphins def did not disappoint us...it was awesome! Went paddle boarding the for the first time with Brian he was a great instructor I had no idea what I was doing and he had me on the board in no time. Had such a great time had to go back a second time best of all he shares his beer! I highly recommend making this a stop during you vacation.

Once again we had an amazing experience again. Captain John took us out on his private charter for a day of deep sea fishing. He was awesome with our 8 and 9 year olds. All 4 of us caught fish after fish. We caught over 100 fish. Will be back again.

They lived up to my expectations... which isn’t easy... I was very happy with the experience... the Captain and tour guide had wonderful upbeat personalities and they really engaged with their guests on the boat... they took their time to give us interesting facts about the birds and dolphins we saw... they gave information about some of the homes we saw along the way..... I especially liked that the Captain was able to answer my question about how the lighthouse has survived the storms it has weathered over time... they were courteous were wonderful with answering questions.. when we started seeing the dolphins they took time to make sure we had the best opportunity to see them... seeing a dolphin in its natural habitat was on my bucket list... thanks to Ponce Inlet Water Sports I can cross that off my list... I’d do the trip again without a doubt and the price was absolutely affordable... I recommend them with a full 5 stars.... Wonderful adventure... THANK YOU....
This eco-tour is A LOT OF FUN. We visited Feb 22, 2018. Capt John and Danielle, I believe, were our guides. We saw mostly maternity pods of dolphin- so amazing!!! Highlight of our trip to Daytona! Excellent family time...highly recommend. ☆☆☆☆☆
This is by far THE BEST use of $25 in a LONG time! What a great boat ride with lots of local and environemental tidbits that you must know to see this amazing part of Florida! We had a goal to go fishing while visiting New Symrna Beach. Kinda disappointed that the swells were too big to go deep sea fishing...but we found a place that did "backwater fishing". We figured why not, we wanna go fishing! And the price was right.
Not really knowing what to expect, we packed some beer and sandwiches (and sunscreen, of course!) and headed to Ponce Inlet.
Easy peasy 'check-in'. A short drive to the marina and we were ready to go! A private boat just for us...how cool! Captain John was super chill and welcoming...which we were so thankful for!
We not only had a memorable time fishing (caught 11 different species!), but also saw manatees and dolphins! It was magical :)

My husband and I took the dolphin manatee tour today and it was awesome! The captain of our boat and our other tour guider was so informative about all the areas we toured, the sea life, and also kept us laughing frequently. It was so cool to dock during the tour at the seashell beach and have the fun of searching for shells. So enjoyable and relaxing. The price of the tour was very affordable. A great time! I highly recommend it!
Had a great time! Also learned a few things, both of the folks leading the tour was able to answer any question people had. They was also very informative and humorous. All around great time, I would highly suggest this to anyone, families, couples, or even solo.
Our family of 5 had a great time fishing with Capt. Doc and first mate McKenzie. We were catching fish within 15 minutes of leaving the dock. We ended up with a pretty big catch and had a fantastic time. Capt. Doc even cut our fish and bagged them for us. This will be our go to fishing location every year when we visit Ponce Inlet.
I booked our boat tour for Monday the 14th of August. A little confused when we first arrived but once everything was taken care of money etc., it went smoothly. Our price was quoted as $300 but when we got there Jiffy said it was $350 not a big deal. We met Captain John and he brought us on board. It was a 4 hour excursion with my family a total of 6. We planned on tubing, fishing and island hoping. We did do fishing and island hoping and that was fine with all of us. We saw Dolphins that was so cool to see and baby one too. Amazing weather and can't say enough good things about Captain John! He helped my grandson's fish well he helped all of us fish and even let Carl drive the boat he was in heaven. When we stopped on the island's we found sand dollars and crabs and sea shells that was so much fun too. Would recommend this to anyone and everyone who likes to go out for a couple of hours and enjoy the scenery and catching some fish and just relaxing and seeing the beautiful dolphins. We had a fantastic time chartering a boat with Captain John. Booking the service was easy and we chose how to spend our day! Capt. John guided us to some great fishing spots, baited our lines and was super informative about all our catches! We spent a little time cooling off at a tidal pool while the kids tossed a casting net and hunted for hermit crabs. We can't wait to do this again!!!
Today my growing crew of 8 went on the eco tour with Captain Samantha and Danielle. It was wonderful, peaceful, educational, and we were excited to be able to see the mantatee. Although, this mantatee was in distress, so the boat stopped to call it in and get help for the momma and her devoted baby that followed her. I would love to read any updates on our friend from today. Thank you for a wonderful experience and knowledge that was shared with us. Although, we didn't see any dolphins, but that is nature and to be expected so no worries. I highly recommend this 90 minute tour for an educational and relaxing experience. Great trip for our family. Many manatee and dolphin sightings Youngest daughter loved it. She is shy and doesn't talk to strangers. But she did talk to Capt. Sam and First Mate Danielle. They were the most awesome ppl to have us aboard their boat. Very well versed on their job. These two made the trip so much more enjoyable The use of their fire bucket was very much appreciated. we did the eco tour and it was great. saw about 6 dolphins and they stayed very close to our boat. our two tour guides were so sweet and even let us drive the boat! my 6 year old loved it!!
Went SUP w/Brian, our tour guide. He's a very good instructor. Took our pics..offered us cold beverages along the way and gives an entertaining history lesson. We saw all kinds of land a sea creatures and went shell gathering. Anxious to go again.

We had the best time Backwater fishing with Doc and Eric. I haven't been fishing since I was a child...with a bobber and button release cast...after four hours...they had me fishing like a professional. Very educational and helpful. Caught and seen a lot of of unusual fish... Sea Robin... Sting Ray.. Red Snapper and oyster...were my favorite. Anyone going this is a must... on the bucket list! I hope to see them again next year! Loved it!!!
It was such a great time! We just did the Manatee/Dolphin tour & saw both! The 2 sweet girls that did our tour were excellent & took time out to check on a dolphin. It was a sad moment but the girls did a good job making the kids on the boat feel better about the situation. Best tour we've been on!

Best. Boat. Tour. Ever.
Captain John with his punny humor, charisma, knowledge and experience led our expedition. His willingness to stop the boat for almost 15 minutes so we didn't just slowly idle past something we saw in the distance created an amazing moment for all of us. Because of it, we saw Dolphins. A BABY DOLPHIN! Up close! A lot of others on the boat saw a manatee. I didn't get to see him or her because I got caught up in the beautiful view all around me and the feel of the of the boat moving through the water. I love being out on a boat and don't get to do it very often... not being a millionaire. � Not for a moment did I feel unsafe.
I experienced the quiet vibration of awe when everyone on the boat went still and watched these beautiful beings we share our world with in their natural habitat. (A first for me.) And, wow, the cathedral like vibration of excitement we all felt when we first saw and met them. I don't have words for that moment. Thanks, Captain John. That'll stay with me forever.

The Amazing Danielle (It really is her job title. Seriously. She more than lived up to it.)...How do I count the ways of the pure awesomeness that is her? I've been on a few boat tours since moving to Florida and, years ago, was a tour guide for the Gone With The Wind Festival tours back in GA. Being a tour guide isn't an easy job but she made it look effortless. Her passion about her job was obvious. She was friendly, personable and eloquent. There were no stupid questions. Her knowledge and passion about the history of all we saw, geographically, and marine life was almost frightening at how extensive it was. I love it when a tour guide winds up feeling like a friend... not something I've experienced since moving to FL. � She did. Rare & Priceless.

First we went paddle boarding with Brian. That was by far the most fun and informative trip we have ever done. He was a genuine guy and shared his beer. He recommended us to John for fishing. John was hilarious and extremely good at what he does. We couldn't drop our lines in without catching fish. Both were super reasonably priced and very personable. Would recommend to anyone and their company is what will bring me back to Daytona/ Port Orange.
Such an amazing experience saw birds,dolphins,tiny crabs and we stopped to find tons of awesome shells!! Anyone who gets a chance should definitely do this! We had a blast! Staff was awesome as well :)
We loved every bit of our tour! Captain John was awesome! He showed our kids families of dolphins and let them get off the boat to collect sea shells. They have talked about the boat ride non stop!
Me and my family have been coming to Daytona beach for vacation since I was born. I use to go out on the critter fleet for fishing. But 4 years ago I found out more info about Ponce Inlet Watersports and they had a backwater fishing trip. Me and my family have been going there ever since. This year we upped and booked a private charter in July for deep sea fishing. The captains have been great and very knowledgeable. Keep up the great work y'all and can't wait for many more trips to come.
We had a awesome time! We seen a ton of Dolphins up close. The staff was amazing and very friendly! Worth every penny! Very relaxing, entertaining and educational. HIGHLY recommended for all ages! 5 stars!
Amazing service and beautiful views! You're missing out if you choose anyone else! The workers were so friendly and made you feel incredibly comfortable. I'm from Minnesota, and they made me feel like home in Florida. I would definitely recommend!

We went last week and absolutely loved it. A great way to get out on the water and marvel at the scenic beauty of the glittering white sand of all the little barrier islands and sand bars. We saw many dolphins up close to the boat, as well as other small wildlife and birds. The staff were all courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. We want to return and rent kayaks. We recommend this tour company!
We went on a boat tour with them on Thursday and it was one of the best things we did while in Florida! The staff was funny and friendly and we saw tons of dolphins, birds, and tiny crabs. They even stopped on one of the islands and let us look for shells and sand dollars. By far the best $25 spent and if we come back to this area we will definitely go here again. Super relaxing and informational I would recommend this to everyone!
This is the second year we've done a dolphin tour, captain John and his assistant was awesome, saw plenty of dolphins and other wildlife. I will continue to recommend to people I know that are visiting the area.
I enjoyed my morning fishing with Ponce Inlet Water Sports. Conditions were tough with gusting winds but the guides did their best to put us on fish. No big fish were caught but that wasn't the fault of the crew. Fun was had by our group.
Absolutely amazing experience. Brought my cousin and her friend here who were visiting from out of state and it was very educational. Got to see lots of birds and dolphins but no manatees due to the cold. I will definitely be returning with my husband and kids when it warms up a bit!

This is the second time we have done the Dolphin & Manatee Tour. Once in 2015 and again this year 1016. Captain Doc and First Mate Eric were fun, knowledgeable, and First Mate Eric even got off the boat at the island to help us hunt Hermit and Fiddler Crabs. In 2015 we saw dolphins and manatees. This year the water was colder, so no manatees. But, the dolphins came out to play around the boat and we were treated to a great experience! Thank you! We will be back next vacation.
We chartered a boat for a half day with "Captain John" and had the best day! He was fun and took us to some great spots...all the kids caught fish today...8 different varieties! The kids even had time for some tubing! They all had a blast! The inlet is absolutely gorgeous, we could not have asked for a more beautiful day! Made some great family memories today and we can't wait to do it again! We would definitely recommend Ponce Inlet Water Sports...they are professional, friendly, fun and made it so easy for us...they took care of EVERYTHING! So worth the $! We will request "Captain John" again and you should too! Thanks for an incredible day John & Jiffy, we all loved it!!!!

Definitely one of the most fun things we've done while staying at Daytona Beach. Parasailing on Jaws was so much fun and the crew made it even more fun!
My husband and I just got back from our week vacation down in Daytona Beach and this place was the highlight of our trip! We spoke to some locals about where we were looking into deep sea fishing and they pointed us here. We couldn't have been happier! Captain John was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. We already plan on making more trips with them in the future. These guys are great!
We randomly called Ponce Inlet Watersports because we thought the prices looked great. We did a Private Charter Boat. John was our boat driver/ awesome fisherman guide. He kept our hooks baited at all times which allowed my husband to enjoy fishing. He was great with the kids and would highly recommend this place and John as a guide. Thanks John for a fun experience and Klayton's favorite part of our whole vacation! And we even saw dolphins twice!
Awesome Day of Fishing with Captain John! I would reccomend this fishing tour to anyone, very friendly, funny and helpful we caught tons of fish, we had a great experience! Keep your fish and have the restraunt next door cook it for you, it was delicious!

Had a great time on our honeymoon with captain John we had our own personal Eco tour then a great day deep sea fishing the next day where I caught the biggest fish I've ever caught and captain john done everything he could to help make our honeymoon a special one Tammy Newton
